Dense, flat, compact, low, very slow growth with dark green, small, elongated, pleasing foliage. The flower bud is colored reddish-brown in autumn and winter and creates a beautiful play of colors. Well suited for rock gardens or very small gardens. The flower is light red, then salmon pink, becoming almost white as it fades. A richly flowering and early variety from this group. Winter hardiness good.
